Effective date: October 10, 2026Operator: Buzent, buzent.com

Effective date

This policy takes effect on October 10, 2026. It applies to the public pages at buzent.com and the information sent through them, including inquiries about yard care in Austin, Texas. You can reach the same data-request route regardless of whether you arrived through an advertisement or opened the site directly.

Controller

Buzent operates this site and is the business responsible for the information described here. The postal address is 156 Market Street, Austin, Texas 10342, Austin, Texas, United States. Buzent is the operator named on the site, not a directory or a marketplace.

What we collect

An inquiry form can contain your name, phone, email, address, kind of enquiry, message, requested specification and consent tick. Phone and email are separate optional ways to receive a reply, but one reply route is needed to send an enquiry. The support chat receives the name, phone, email, consent choice and messages that you enter.

When an inquiry is sent, its record includes the IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL and the times the form was rendered and submitted. Chat stores messages on the server and keeps a functional token under buzent_chat_token in the browser's local storage so you can return to the conversation. The browser stores the consent choice under site_consent_v2. Advertising links may carry gclid, msclkid or fbclid. No account, password, payment or card data is taken, and nothing is sold on this site.

Why it is used

Contact details and job details are used to read the request, clarify access and boundaries, decide whether the work is within scope, reply, and prepare a proposed scope in USD. An address helps assess the site; it does not book a visit. A message in chat is used to continue that conversation and to respond by the route supplied.

Technical records help deliver pages, prevent misuse and investigate a failed submission. Referring URLs and click identifiers help attribute visits from current Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads campaigns. They do not turn an enquiry into a purchase. Buzent does not take payment through this site.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, handling a request for proposed yard work relies on taking steps at your request before a possible contract. Carrying out an agreed job relies on that contract. Answering other questions and keeping correspondence relies on the legitimate interest of responding to people who contact Buzent. The inquiry checkbox confirms permission to use the submitted details to reply; it does not give advertising consent.

Consent is the basis for optional advertising and analytics storage and related uses. Necessary technical records support the legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site. Functional chat storage supports the conversation you request. Records that a law requires us to retain are kept to meet that legal obligation, not on the basis of advertising consent.

Advertising links

Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic here today. Google Ads attaches gclid to a click. Microsoft Advertising attaches msclkid. Meta Ads attaches fbclid where a campaign runs there. These identifiers link a visit to an advertising click; they do not record your storage choice. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising use the consent and measurement signals supplied by the site.

The Cookies & Storage Choices page explains permitted measurement and gives you controls to allow storage or decline it. Buzent does not retain click identifiers in local storage or session storage before permission.

Consent Mode v2

Consent Mode v2 starts with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied. They remain denied until the visitor allows storage. If the visitor declines or withdraws, all four are set back to denied at that point. Denied signals do not mean that no network request can ever occur; they mean optional storage and use are not authorised by the site.

The consent mode settings do not block the page. You can decline storage and still send an inquiry. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to reopen the controls; selecting Decline after Allow storage withdraws permission. Global Privacy Control is honored as an opt-out without asking again. Consent records and the functional chat token are separate from optional tracking.

Recipients

Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC receives Google Ads measurement signals. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd receives Microsoft Advertising measurement signals; its own handling is described in the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd receives Meta Ads measurement information where a campaign runs there.

The hosting provider that serves this site and stores the enquiry database receives the records needed to run the pages. The mail provider that carries notification to the operator's inbox receives the enquiry notification. Buzent does not name those suppliers as if they were the operator, and does not give personal information to unrelated sellers.

Transfers

Hosting, mail delivery and advertising services can process information outside the country where a visitor is located, including through the United States or other countries used by those providers. A transfer is made under the provider's contractual safeguards, an adequacy decision where one applies, or another lawful transfer mechanism available for the service and visitor. The relevant provider's own notice controls its independent processing.

Retention periods

These are the working periods used by this site. Enquiries and their email copies are kept for 18 months. Chat transcripts are kept for 18 months. Server and access logs are kept for 30 days. The record of a consent choice is kept for 6 months. A browser's functional chat token remains subject to the chat state and can be removed by clearing browser storage.

A data request is answered within 14 days. A record may be kept longer where a lawful duty, dispute or security investigation requires it, but the ordinary periods above are not silently extended for convenience.

Security

Access to enquiry records is restricted to the operator's working systems and the service providers needed to host, notify or measure the site. Connections are served over HTTPS where supported by the visitor's browser. Form validation, hidden anti-spam fields and access controls reduce ordinary misuse. No online system can promise perfect security, so do not send passwords, payment details or information that the job does not need.

Rights for visitors

Visitors from Europe have the following rights where the GDPR applies: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawing consent. You can ask what is held, correct a mistake, request deletion, restrict a use, receive information in a portable form, object to legitimate-interest processing or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before the withdrawal, and erasure does not require records that must lawfully be kept to disappear.

US state rights

US state privacy law applies as required, including California's CCPA and CPRA. California visitors can ask for access to and correction or deletion of covered personal information and can opt out of sale or sharing where those terms apply. The other state laws in force may provide comparable rights. Buzent does not exchange inquiry records for payment. Advertising measurement or personalization can count as sale or sharing under a state's definition, even without a payment. Use Decline in Cookie preferences to opt out of optional advertising use, or send an email data request. Buzent does not penalize you for exercising a privacy right.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control, including the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. The signal applies to optional sale or sharing and advertising storage choices as required by the visitor's applicable law. Functional operation of an enquiry form and a non-advertising chat can still continue.

Children

This site is for adults arranging ordinary residential yard work. It is not for children, and Buzent does not knowingly take data from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent information, contact [email protected] so the record can be reviewed and handled under the applicable law.

Complaints

Write to Buzent first so the issue can be checked. You may also complain to your state Attorney General. A California visitor may complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency in California. A visitor covered by the GDPR may complain to a data protection authority in the country where they live or work, or where they believe an infringement occurred.

A usable data request route

Send an email to [email protected] with the words access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal in the subject or message. Say which request you mean and, if useful, the email or phone used in the enquiry. Do not send identity documents in the first message. Buzent may ask for proportionate confirmation before releasing or changing information. A response is sent within 14 days. Records that must lawfully be retained will be explained rather than falsely promised away.

Include

What you want changed, the route used to contact Buzent and enough detail to locate the record. A job address is optional at first.

Changes

When this notice changes, the revised text is published on this page with a new effective date at the top. A material change is not hidden in a banner or treated as an old version. The consent controls remain available for optional storage after a change.
